Alex & Jazzmyn

2025 was a big one for us, filled with lots of time with friends and family, a few adventures, and one very exciting life update.

• The biggest news: we’re expecting our first baby! We’re so excited to welcome our baby girl, due February 22nd. Equal parts thrilled, nervous, and Googling everything.
• With a lot of help from Jim (and plenty of Freddy’s lunches) we turned our back patio into an addition, added a bathroom and expanded the kitchen a bit which made our little house feel much bigger.
• Jazzmyn got into vintage-inspired paint-by-numbers this year, so we now have several new paintings ready to hang in the new addition.
• We went to Lodi, California in May with Jazzmyn’s family to celebrate her cousin’s quinceañera which was a blast!
• June was full of weddings, starting with my stepsister Brianne and Gerred’s wedding in Denver, followed by a trip to Crested Butte with the Potter family for cousin Alisha and Chandler’s wedding. Both were a great time!
• We squeezed in a few camping trips to Wellington Lake - one in August for Jazzmyn and her twin sister Taylor’s birthdays, and another in September with Lauren, Stephan, and the kids.
• We had a great Thanksgiving trip to Sedona with Jim, Kat, Ryan, and Ari.
• Alex got his classic BMW motorcycle back on the road and enjoyed riding all summer, including a couple of weekend trips with friends.
• Alex also started a new job at Espire Dental as an in-house web designer/developer. After nearly 10 years of working for himself, it was a little nerve-wracking, but it’s been a great fit, with awesome people and a great office culture.

We’re heading into 2026 feeling grateful, excited, and very ready (or not at all ready) for this next chapter.
